For over 70 years Global Industrial has been an industry leader providing private label and brand name industrial equipment and supplies to businesses throughout North America.

We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide lead role in assisting customer service reps with training and support


• Monitor and follow up with reports such as open order and warehouse barometer to make sure all orders are in the system and ship in a timely fashion


• Second tier quotation specialist to manage quotation work load


• Assist Director of Sales and Operations with PCS set up- product master/ procedure for new website, portal and the new catalog


• Manage collateral literature programs such as catalog mailings, promotions, etc


• Handle customer service calls in the work flow


• Decision maker to resolve and leverage critical customer and manufacturer reps issues and opportunities


• Handle select internal key accounts

Competencies and skills

• 3 i- 5 years managerial experience in a customer service environment


• Bachelori's degree preferred


• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access


• Strong Interpersonal skills


• Excellent written and oral communication skills
