Description

We are hiring for an InPlant Technician II, based at our client site located in Elizabeth, NJ.

In this role your primary responsibility is to under minimal supervision, provide color matching, formulating, and small batch blending on-site at the customer location. Produce and quality control inks to ensure the product meet or exceed the customer's expectations. Maintain detailed production and quality control records. Support customer's schedule through production coordination. Work safely and maintain good housekeeping. Provide strong press side technical service, troubleshoot problems, and provide detailed and consistent technical reporting. Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to internal Sun Chemical team.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of MS Office


• Able to lift 55 pounds througout the day


• Stand for long periods of time


• 3+ years industry experience; color matching and blending procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Well versed in a variety of dispensing software platforms (i.e. Novaflow, Mixmaster, etc....) and color matching technologies (i.e. X-Rite, GSL, etc....).


• Strong pressroom and printing process knowledge

Shift:

• 1st shift - 8am-4:30pm

Drug screen and background check are mandatory if you are offered this position.
