Job Purpose:

As a People and Talent Specialist, you will provide support to the Talent team in all disciplines including learning management, recruiting, employee programs and employee growth and development. You will be provide critical administrative support across all talent disciplines and ensure a smooth and positive candidate and employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:


Learning Management


* Manage administration and maintenance of ePlus' Learning Management System (LMS)


* Analyze program trends and provide regular reporting and recommendations on findings


* Assist with creation of learning programs that align with corporate objectives and strategies


* Assign learning initiatives and training courses to employees; monitor and report on compliance


* Participate in needs analyses to determine individual, departmental and organizational learning needs


* Assist with planning, organization and facilitation of employee training and development events with external speakers and trainers


* Conduct follow-up surveys of completed training to evaluate and measure results


* Provide metrics and assessments of completed and proposed learning plans to management



Talent Programs


* Manage ePlus' Employee Referral Program including communication of employee referral opportunities, monitoring new hires from employee referrals and tracking referrals through completion


* Manage internal Mentor Program including completion of assigned training and regular follow-up with mentors and mentees to track and report on progress


* Craft and manage employee communication related to learning and talent programs to enhance program awareness and brand employee learning programs


* Design, distribute and evaluate candidate experience surveys


* Assist in management of relationships with external vendors, training providers and speakers



Talent Management


* Assist with maintenance and management of Talent Development modules within Human Resources Information System (HRIS) including goals, goal planning and career development


* Assist with management of ePlus' Employee Rewards & Recognition program including management of data integrity & award catalog, analysis and reporting on usage and trends, and distribution of points and rewards


* Conduct exit interviews; analyze and report on trends


* Craft and update job descriptions; manage job descriptions and salary ranges within HRIS


* Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of ePlus


* Support additional projects within the Talent & Human Resources teams such as open house events and meetups


* Assist with additional Talent projects, as assigned

Job Knowledge/Skills:

* Previous experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred



Education and Experience:


* 1+ year of previous Talent/Talent Acquisition experience desired


* Prior experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS)


* Prior experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) preferred


* Prior experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred


* Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in human resources or related area preferred


* HR Certification a plus



Physical Requirements of Position:


Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally.
