Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Successfully execute & manage monthly Purchase order placements, factory confirmations, and on time deliveries. Factory communications include purchase order creations, PO confirmations, cancelations, rescheduling and other detailed PO issues.

Manage monthly purchase order download to ensure order placement per souring plan. Adjust sourcing/model mix as necessary to balance sourcing effort, minimize order rejection rate, and meet delivery performance objectives.

Communicate all delivery information to USA customer base which will include (warehouse, sales, retail, direct ship).

Train to become power user in all supply, logistics and souring applications.

Based on sourcing strategy, successfully manage short- and long-term capacity with all off-shore manufacturers and country offices. Staying abreast of all critical regulations and new tariffs worldwide.

Partner with multiples departments to ensure smooth tracking & up to the date information throughout the supply chain. Cross functional collaboration includes the following departments: far east offices/factories, logistics, imports, costing, warehouse/DC, ales, finance, demand planning.

Communicate with accounts payable to ensure proper payment terms are met with all 3rd party suppliers/factories.

Execute all purchase order reporting as needed. Reports to include factory performance reporting.

Qualifications
BSBA or equivalent.

Three years product planning experience in an international sourcing driven environment.

Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Experience working in ERP/MRP systems.

Knowledge of footwear development and production process / timelines.

Detailed knowledge of factory planning processes as well as supplier management processes.

Follow proper reporting procedures to maintain consistent communication in the workplace.

Use efficient cost accounting methods to reach and maintain a high level of productivity.

Conduct inventory control by managing supplies and suppliers to meet customer demand.

Be able to create and implement effective strategic planning.
