May Center for Adult Services is currently seeking compassionate and qualified Bilingual Direct Support Professionals to work directly with adults with autism and other developmental disabilities at our residential program in Chicopee, MA.

All positions available.

Hourly rate for this position is $16.00.

Now offering a $1000 sign-on bonus for schedules with 30+ hours per week or $750 sign-on bonus for schedules below 30 hours per week.

PLUS - additional wage incentives for direct care shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Skill development and community integration
  
  


• 
  Assisting individuals in meeting their personal care & nutritional needs
  
  


• 
  Behavioral interventions
  
  


• 
  Participating in the development of IEP/ISP objectives and documenting consumer progress
  
  


• 
  Dispensing medications (certification is available)
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  Previous behavioral experience strongly preferred
  
  


• 
  Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  
  


• 
  Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
  


• 
  Valid driver's license with at least 2 years driving experience
  
  


• 
  Previous human services experience is strongly preferred
  
  


• 
  Bilingual Skills-Fluency in English & Spanish required
