Duties and Responsibilities |
Supports student labor administration, applicant communications, hiring paperwork, scheduling, training and general on-boarding, including ongoing development of training resources. Supports multimedia computer labs, printing and poster printing, software applications, and lab location configuration and upkeep. Assists with HSC clerkship and yearly resident exams, as well as ongoing development of digital media projects and trainings with an emphasis on print and design production.
- Supervises general operations, organization and upkeep of HSC computer labs, kiosks, accommodation and exam workstations, upkeep of peripherals, location presentation and signage, and inventory of supplies and consumables (paper, toner, etc).
- Serves as technical coordinator for clerkship and residency exams applications ensuring lab workstation certification, configuration, and availability in advance of testing and day-of support,
- Provides triage support with lab and exam workstation troubleshooting, utilizing ITS ticketing system, and coordination with partners such as Desktop Services and/or Classroom Technology Support, etc, as needed during high utilization or project needs.
- Assists with student labor administration efforts for the area of Digital Media Services including applicant communications, hiring paperwork, scheduling, training and general on-boarding, including ongoing development of training resources.
- Primary system administrator for systems focused on HSC lab utilization metrics, print supplies and upkeep, including weekly metrics and ongoing usage reports.
- Attends departmental meetings and contributes to ongoing area initiatives.
- Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience |
Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Media, or Education. |

Applicants should be hard-working, enthusiastic, and resourceful. The Digital Media Lab Supervisor should have familiarity in technologies in order to provide subject matter expertise on these technology tools:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign/Illustrator)
- Media Lab Computer Administration
Familiarity with medical exam software applications, virtual machines, screen recording software, Learning Management Systems, or Python/coding considered a plus.The individual in this position must:
