Job Description:

Manages operations of Cardiac Cath Lab. Ensures effective and efficient operation of unit while maintaining focus on 100% patient centered care. Manages staffing, departmental processes and develops policy and procedure. Maintains presence on unit to ensure all patient and staff meets are met and clinical quality and patient satisfaction standards are maintained and exceeded.

 

Education and Training

 

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio.


• BSN required.


• BLS required until ACLS obtained. ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire and/or transfer.


• Certification in specialty area preferred.

 

 

Experience

 

• Three years related professional nursing experience including one to three years progressive leadership experience.


• Cath lab or electrophysiology lab experience Required

 

 

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

 

• Excellent organization and planning abilities.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills.


• Computer literacy (word processing, intranet/internet, email, report creation, charts and graphs).
