Summary:
Lead the development of high performance software supporting modern network application performance management technologies in a fast paced and agile environment where you'll be making meaningful contributions day one. The primary software platform runs on Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016, and newer, as well as Linux based platforms.
Duties / responsibilities:
Develop clear and compelling product requirements, keeping in mind the market trends, the customer needs, sales perspective, documentation as well as R&D points of view
Highly available and deeply involved in defining and refining detailed requirements on time, in collaboration with the R&D teams during epic refinement, review, as well as flexibility for on demand calls
Actively participate in product demos and dynamically tune the product development direction in real time
Maintain accurate and up to date requirements in various systems (Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint)
Establish solid communication and partnership with PLM and Sales representatives, in order to translate high level business asks into actionable Jira items
High degree of market awareness in terms of customer deployments and competition products
Build and maintain a close and open relationship with R&D team, through availability and constant communication and contribution, as well as feedback loops
Low level backlog prioritization
Responsible for PO signoff process ensuring business requirements are satisified
Basic qualifications, traits and skills:
Relevant experience as Product Owner / Business Analyst
Good understanding of the Networking domain and familiarity with packet capture software (eg, Wireshark)
Experience with MS Office products and Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Good understanding and experience on virtualization and cloud architectures, across Linux and Windows based operating systems
Able to take informed and concise decisions regarding product roadmap, queries and priorities
Able to integrate change according to marketing and sales priorities, without injecting risk in R&D workflow
Problem solver attitude, capable of identifying risks and naturally working with the team towards resolution
Flexible personality, open to change, new ideas, innovations while maintaining a stable environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good English aptitudes both reading and writing
Attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with UX and designing user interfaces
Networking related PO experience
Engineering background, especially with network monitoring products
Fast learner, able to quickly get good knowledge of the product
Highly developed social skills, capable of creating strong inter-personal relationships and getting knowledge across organizational structure and skillset distribution.
