Job Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ (Remote until Covid)
This individual must be hands-on and strong in Mainframe DB2 and SQL concepts
Good working knowledge in CICS
Ability to Design, Develop, Test and Deploy mainframe solutions
Provide on call support on rotation basis
Preferred Skills/Qualification:
Experience in Teradata and ETL process
Experience working in Healthcare domain
Responsibilities:
Design and code high quality deliverables adhering to defined standards and design principles
Create unit tests and ensure code coverage is met as per the agreed standards
Assumes responsibility for the quality and timeliness of deliverables
Functions in complex environments with minimal direction
Solid individual performance while partnering with others
Works well through self-directed effort
May serve as technical lead in area of expertise
May provide technical assistance to resolve operating issues
Work with IT and Business management to evaluate complex user requests, projects, and clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs.
Formulates detailed program specifications using structured analysis and design methodology, prepare project documentation when needed
Code new or modified computer programs into existing systems and test program effectiveness
Evaluate error messages, modify codes and troubleshoot programming problems.
Perform analysis of systems issues or changes
Write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections
Participate in the development of user manuals and operating procedures
