Job Summary
Responsible for planning, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes and operation systems, from the acquisition of advanced equipment and tools to training in new systems, as well as the achievement of the company's objectives through continuous improvement initiatives and savings through the discipline of administrative tools such as "DI's and Hoshin Plan" in order to ensure the execution and continuity of the projects.
Essential Features
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
2. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements and workflow, equipment layout design and work area for maximum efficiency.
3. Consult with planning and design personnel regarding product and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
4. Consultation with suppliers to determine product specifications and purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, evaluating them according to their specification and quality standard.
5. Estimate production times, personnel requirements, and operating costs.
6. Define and analyze manufacturing capabilities.
7. Development of visual aids and process instructions.
8. Provide support in the transfer of products and equipment, whether new or from sister plants.
9. Responsible for the introduction of new manufacturing methods and processes.
10. He is responsible for identifying and implementing investment and productivity projects for the plant from an operational point of view.
11. Directs the resource to cover technical support needs in the operational area from a continuous improvement and engineering approach (Kaizen, balance sheets, method recommendation).
12. Leads the introduction, management, and implementation of new technologies for the company, following the change management process.
13. Supports EHS initiatives in terms of implementing improvements to existing processes and new processes.
14. Ensures compliance with the AS-9100 standard for the engineering and ABS departments in terms of documentation, work instructions and procedures.

2. Actively pursue the elimination of waste, make improvements for the efficiency and reliability of the equipment and the reduction of the total production costs.
3. Promote improvements in work practice to implement best practices and recommend best methods where appropriate.
4. Develop and promote the use of procedures and work manuals.
5. Procure replacement parts for all HdM units and related equipment and ensure sufficient inventory.
6. Address the needs of the IT department and serve as liaison with sister plants.
7. Keep control and monitoring of DI's savings projects of each department, as well as the proper record of savings in the system.
8. Leader of the Hoshin Kanri tool in conjunction with the plant Controller, a plan through which the strategic approach towards continuous improvement is sought to achieve the company's objectives
