The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for coordinating with subject matter experts throughout the business to write and edit digital content with guidance from the Digital Customer Experience Manager. This role will research topics in the manufacturing industry and write long-form and short-form content for web properties.

Major Responsibilities:


  • Research, write, and edit content, including product landing pages, long-form and short-form content, eBooks, and blogs
  • Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years in Marketing, Sociology, Communications or Business-related field.
  • One or more years of experience in content writing or copywriting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction and execute independently or as part of a team.
