Position Description:
AMETEK Precitech, Inc,, located in Keene, NH, manufactures a variety of ultra precision machining systems that are distributed world wide.

We are seeking a Production Supervisor/Lead, that will maintain and meet production schedules for a variety of precision products. Managing, directing, and positively motivating a multi-talented workforce that will enable the success of the organization. Administrative duties will include coaching, encouraging and mentoring employees to to succeed. Position will oversee, process improvements employing various lean techniques as well as employee training, disciplining, and other duties associated with a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results
• Works closely with Planning & Scheduling to meet customer expectations for ship dates
• Enforces company policies and guidelines
• Trains employees
• Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques
• Counsels employees on how to achieve optimal output or workflow
• Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees
• Communicates with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed
• Works with Materials Management to maintain proper inventory levels
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers
• Supports Quality Assurance in the testing and analysis of product conformance.

Position Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in a high precision production environment
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or highly technical field of study
• The ability to head a team successfully and resolve issues relating to personnel quickly and efficiently
• Knowledge of process improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing a plus
• Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills
