Essential Duties:
Follow all Goodwill policies and procedures, including all safety policies and proceduresImmediately notify supervisor or other lead worker if any problem or concern regarding safety existsFollow all manufacturing departments policies and proceduresAssemble parts, kits or products; repackage, sort (visually inspect), or otherwise produce any work assigned per customer requirements and provided work instructions (written, visual or verbal)Includes: properly documenting time in/out; properly documenting production; obtaining necessary packaging; verifying raw materials; requesting required inspections; performing required operation with zero defects; completing appropriate production documents; notifying appropriate personnel when running out of raw materials; maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work environmentImmediately notify supervisor or other lead worker if any problem or concern regarding quality existsPerformance and documentation of equipment checks and the cleaning of assigned work area(s)Accurate, legible completion of manufacturing departments quality system forms and documents
Additional Duties:
As assigned by supervisor, including but not limited to: material handling duties, 5S activities, involvement in corrective or preventative actions and continuous improvement activities or events.
Physical Requirements:
Will vary depending on the subcontracted work, but may include lifting up to fifty (40) pounds; standing or sitting for the length of the shift; carrying or moving boxes/tubs of materials/parts; twisting, bending, reaching, standing, repetitive assembly, packing of parts, recording and labeling work completed; ability to make visual quality determinations of products as required.
