Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, Americas, the Director of Sales, Latin America is responsible for helping expand its sales across Latin America and the Caribbean. This position will focus on expanding the Cofense market share across the Latin American and Caribbean geography.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals to continue our penetration of Latin America
Primary focus will be on the development and closure of opportunities for the Cofense Software-as-a-Service and Managed PDR solutions.
Secondary focus on developing and closing opportunities of additional product lines.
You must have relationships with key decision-makers in information security departments across a variety of industries.
The position will require regular travel, as well as the ability to represent our company at events.
You must have the ability to manage all aspects of the sales cycle, pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, quota attainment and refining messaging to potential customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Expertise in managing sales opportunities from prospect to closure
Must be a self-starter with a proven track record of exceeding quota
Ability to provide live and web-based demonstrations of the Cofense.com solutions, often without sales engineering support
Experience with interacting with the procurement contracts
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Capability to present technical information to a variety of audiences
Demonstrated ability to forecast and manage information using SalesForce.com
Extensive contacts in the information security and/or security operations fields
Hands-on experience in providing information security services
General knowledge of security ecosystems (Endpoint, Data Protection, Risk & Compliance, Network Security & Incident Response)
Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks to successful completion
Ability to work in a fast paced, geographically dispersed organization
Ability to travel a minimum of 40%
Education and/or Experience:
4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree preferred
4-6 years successful experience in sales of information security services and products
Experience developing opportunities from initial lead generation to product demonstrations and successful closure.
Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese
Experience as a presenter on information security topics at conferences and events
