JOB SUMMARY:

This position is dedicated to pro-actively developing programs, building partnerships and creating internal ambassadors that result in sourcing potential candidates for positions requiring a CDL license. In addition to searching social networks and proactively sending recruiting emails, the Talent Acquisition Driver Recruiting Manager would also build relationships with driving schools and driver communities within our division geography for the purpose of creating and developing a pipeline of quality candidates. Understanding the driver market and evolution of our competitors requires a continuous improvement mindset to build and maintain a best-in-class driver recruitment experience. Key Measures for Success:

* Count of drivers hired

* Requisition completion timeliness

* Conversion rates

* Cost per hire

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • * In collaboration with the Talent Management Director, build a comprehensive driver recruiting strategy and build insightful KPIs to be communicated to leadership, hiring managers, and the operations.

    * In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager, develop & implement a sustainable sourcing strategy for both non-exempt and exempt roles; with special emphasis on drivers and early career positions. This may include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, on-site or virtual job fairs, etc...

    * Ability to identify, engage, evaluate and route prospective candidates to open requisitions across the South Division.

    * Demonstrated ability to build and maintain an active network of quality candidates and long term relationships with Universities, Driving schools and other organizations deemed to be a good source for talent.

    * Ability to collaborate within a highly matrixed organization; working closely with business leaders, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.

    * Partner with the Talent Development Director to develop strategies and leveraging resources to build a diverse talent pipeline for current and future vacancies

    * Use Taleo Enterprise Edition (TEE) applicant tracking system and other recruiting software to track and manage applicants through the recruitment & selection process

    * Track and use key metrics to drive continuous improvements regarding candidate sourcing, recruitment decisions and the quality of hires

    * Ability draw from internal motivation to prioritize high-volume workload, while maintaining attention to detail.

    * Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google tools to assemble routine reports and presentations pertaining to sourcing metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

* 5-7 years of work experience in recruitment

* Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting practices, processes and procedures including relevant Federal and State laws pertaining to recruitment and employment.

* Ability to understand and work with Affirmative Action Plans.

* Ability to travel approximately 25%
