 Responsibilities of the Night Assistant Nursing Manager Urgent Care will include overseeing department operations, monitoring performances on an ongoing basis, lead quality and performance improvement initiatives, assist the Nurse Manager with staff and performance evaluations, and act as a resource to the night shift team. The Night Assistant Nursing Manager will be an extension of the leadership team, reporting to the Nurse Manager that oversees the day shift. Being an extension of the leadership team, the Night Assistant Nursing Manager Urgent Care will be an individual that has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enjoys motivating their team, and is familiar with working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and quickly adapt to changing patient needs. Ideally the Night Assistant Nursing Manager Urgent Care will have a clinical background in an emergency or trauma unit and prior management experience.
