Ultra Sonobuoy Systems is seeking to hire a Production Planner for our Audio Products group. The Production Planner is responsible for creating work orders within EPICOR for production in concordance with Sales Orders and Engineering requests. The Production Planner will work with production staff, MSM and purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials for production.

• Monitor and manipulate MRP data to ensure accurate material demand.


• Work Order management for Production Floor


• Coordinating between stockroom and dock


• Create Master Production Schedule (MPS) per anticipated and firm sales; shipped goods; coordinate with Production Management to drive accountability


• Own MRP input/output and usability across other functions


• Attend CRW to review with team new sales orders and production plan


• Attend weekly Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings


• Update material on open jobs per Engineer Change Notice (ECN) changes, as directed


• Assist with the Cycle Count process to ensure inventory accuracy


• Handle Material Transfer Requests and Engineering Notice Factory Notices (ENFNs)


• Attend the weekly production and CCB meeting to review progress made on the jobs schedule


• Any additional tasks as assigned

Required Skills:

• Associates degree in business or a related field


• 2+ years of relevant experience


• 2+ years experience with manipulating an MRP system


• Ability to obtain a security clearance.Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens


• Ability to lift 20 pounds up to waist height on an ad hoc basis

Desired Skills:

• Experience in production environment or production planning


• Experience with Epicor


• Bachelor degree in business or related field


• APICS certification
