The main responsibility of the Burn-In Technician is to work independently and with a small team to perform daily oven turns. Additional duties may include troubleshooting and repair of printed circuit boards as well as periodic maintenance of equipment.

• Load/unload SBGAs into socketed printed circuit boards


• Load/run burn-in oven recipes


• Verify correct system operation


• Order and/or perform periodic maintenance and calibrations


• Troubleshoot system, electrical and mechanical problems and order or perform repairs as necessary.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• AA Degree or equivalent:  Electrical or Electronics Engineering


• Two or more years’ relevant cleanroom experience in Burn-in, IC Test, or reliability test.


• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills with a demonstrated hands-on experience.


• Excellent computer skills:  fully versed in MS Windows, and compatible word processors, spreadsheets, e-mail.


• Ability to stand for long periods of time


• Fine motor skills for manipulation and orientation of SBGAs as small as 6mm square


• Technical use of scopes and meters


• Familiarity with Incal CR18 or similar design dynamic burn-in ovens a plus


• IC Test experience is also a plus


• Capabilities of working on board layout and trouble shooting for burn-in boards a plus.

• Must be able to travel to other office locations.

Additional Job Requirements:

• Capable to Push and Pull 40 lbs force constantly for up to 4 hours per day


• Able to carry 25 lbs over distance constantly for up to 4 hours per day


• On feet 6 to 8 hours

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimal, but could visit vendors
