The RN Director of Operating Room will manage 100+ FTEs consisting of Registered Nurses, Surgical Technicians, Sterile Processing Technicians, and other support staff.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Surgical Services, the Acute Care Surgery OR Nurse Director is also responsible for oversight of the Central Sterile and Scheduling Departments. In this comprehensive role, the RN Director of Operating Room will have oversight of budgetary needs, hiring and firing of staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, and leading process improvement efforts. The Acute Care Surgery OR Nurse Director will be an influential change agent in strategizing the long-term goals and vision for the department.
