Job Description:

An established, non-for-profit hospital located in the center of Coastal Virginia, is currently searching for an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join their cherished healthcare organization.

This 300-bed, full-service hospital provides a wide variety of award-winning acute care services to many surrounding communities. The Critical Care Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care to all patients within the assigned unit. The Critical Care Registered Nurse will perform assessments, maintain medical records, and provide patient teaching. The Registered Nurse will also establish a cohesive environment and effectively communicate with physicians, nurses, and staff.

The Critical Care Registered Nurse will demonstrate clinical competence to ensure safe, effective, and quality care. The Critical Care Registered Nurse will collaborate with leadership and lead designated units by serving as a preceptor to students or new employees and contributing in hospital-wide initiatives. This is a full-time position for a Critical Care Registered Nurse with an outstanding organization.

 

Requirements Include:

BSN

Registered Nurse in the state of Virgina

Minimum 1 year of Critical Care nursing experience

Current BLS and ACLS certification. CCRN preferred.
