The Warehouse Manager manages and supervises employees to ship, receive, record, and maintain control of all materials shipped out of and received into the warehouse while also maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Ensures compliance with internal control procedures by counting inventory within the warehouse and matching results with inventory records
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering safety stock, turns, weight, size and other related factors.
Staffs, develops, trains, reviews, motivates and holds all warehouse staff accountable. Responsible for documentation related to staff. Utilizes team approach and involvement effectively.
Manages all shipping and receiving of finished goods and raw materials, logistics and freight costs.
Reviews and maintains records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.
Schedules activity for periodic inventories. Reconciles inventory variances on valuation report.
Determines reasons for inventory discrepancies, recommends and implements actions to resolve discrepancies.
Establishes work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites work flow.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Ensures that the daily operations for Shipping, Receiving, raw and finished goods meet expectations, including F.I.F.O. as well as verification of incoming and outgoing materials
Ensures that warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions.
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Maintains a motivated, cooperative, team oriented and informed work force.
Enforce timeliness and quality of warehouse shipping and receiving operations
Maintain the finished goods warehouse and shipping docks as well as the raw material warehouse and receiving docks in a clean and organized condition
Ensure that the finished goods and raw material inventory stays accurate
Ensures that all product to be staged for production or for shipments are pulled, counted and staged correctly using F.I.F.O as required according to the daily production and shipping schedule
Demonstrates excellent internal and external communication skills.
Manages waste and scrap disposal.
Effectively manages expenses and negotiates with vendors where appropriate.
Participates effectively in team initiatives.
Budgets and plans for fiscal accounting year.
Manage process flow by minimizing touches and travel distances.
Assist other Supervisors as needed

The Warehouse Manager is an integral part of the Management team. Additional responsibilities include providing informational support to all members of internal management team and working effectively to provide support to corporate team members and other PAC locations.
APICS or other field related certifications strongly preferred
Must have 5+ years working knowledge of Warehouse/Logistics Management in a 200,000+ Sq. Ft. facility with management of 15+ employees
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel Skills, Material Handling technology, and inventory analysis skills
Detail oriented with organization and time management skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Must be available to work overtime on short notice which may include weekend, evening or holiday hours.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Language Skills:
Must be capable of speaking, reading and writing English with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Mathematical Skills:
Must be capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division calculations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing computer program preferred as well as RF/Bar Code technology
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must possess or be able to be trained to operate a Forklift
