In this exciting role as a Sr Manufacturing Engineer at Medtronic's Energy and Component Center (MECC) you will support the automated processes that manufacturing high quality components used in implantable medical devices. You will have responsibility for overall performance and efficiency of the process to include corrective actions and stability improvements. The processes include varying levels of laser welding, PLC/PC programming, motion control, robotics, and vision applications. The Brooklyn Center facility supports the design, development, and production of components used in implantable devices for a variety of Medtronic businesses. In this role you will gain experience with different battery technologies that support Medtronic's portfolio and will work closely with Research & Technology, Process Development, Product Design, Quality, Reliability Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs, supporting your development and growth. This role reports to the Sr. Engineering Manager as a member of the growing Battery Engineering Team. What does it take to be a leader at Medtronic?
