As a senior analyst at Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, you'll support the Central Logistics & Outside Processing group. Responsibilities
Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the central logistics and outside processing team
Monitor daily reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Work within multiple data sources to extract and validate data required to provide reports and do analysis
Analyze aged ready inventory across the company to understand issues related to coils residing in a status for excessive periods of time
Provide recommendations to improve reporting, processes, and procedures to improve the velocity of ready material
Work cross functionally to gain approval and implement the new reporting, processes, and procedures
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business or 2+ years of relevant logistics or data mining and report creation
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a diverse, cross-functional, internal, and external team across different time zones
Excellent planning, time management, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer service orientation
Understanding of logistics and transportation management
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Information Technology
Computer skills - MO Office Products, including, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook. Also experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience in CC legacy systems, order entry, etc. would be a plus.
Self-motivation, problem solving, and organizational skills
Demonstrated work ethic - excellence, meeting deadlines, overtime
