PGIM’s Capital Management and Strategy team currently has an opening for a Planning & Analysis Specialist. The successful candidate will provide analytical and strategic financial support across PGIM, building effective business partnerships through interaction with each PGIM business unit finance team, as well as with other areas, including Corporate Treasury, PGIM’s Strategy team and Controllers.

Responsibilities:



  • Play an integral role in PGIM’s quarterly capital forecast, focused on capital cash flows, borrowing, required capital, and PGIM’s strategic investment portfolio; provide in-depth analysis on forecast results, intended for senior audiences in PGIM, USB, and Treasury




  • Support PGIM’s quarterly dividend process, including balance sheet asset-liability matching, developing an in-depth understanding of PGIM’s cash flows and connectivity to PGIM’s strategic investment portfolio and core business




  • Assist with the quarterly compilation of PGIM’s investment performance results




  • Collaborate with Corporate partners on relevant financial systems and technology, including CFRA, FFB and Anaplan; ability and willingness to lead discussions to identify solutions




  • Contribute to PGIM’s Capital Management forecast re-design efforts




  • Assist with ad hoc presentations and requests for information from other areas of PGIM and broader Prudential




  • Participate in business-specific special projects, as needed



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar discipline required




  • 2+ years proven track record working in financial services, exhibiting both business and financial acumen supported by superior analytical abilities; prior experience in Asset Management is a plus




  • Proactive self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves,” lead by example style, and the ability to shift gears when necessary and work autonomously




  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing and presenting financial presentations




  • Must have strong collaboration skills and a demonstrated capability to partner




  • Requires a high ethical standard and ability to work with confidential information
