This position is eligible for a partial telework schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As an HR Representative for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will...


  • Act as a strategic thought partner, consultantand advisor to business leaders and employees on HR related matters for the Information Technology functional area.
  • Drive diversity, equityand inclusion initiatives.
  • Support various Human Resources processes such as organizational effectiveness, employee onboarding, hiring processes and workforce planning.
  • Provide coaching to employees and managers to help improve relationships and performance.

  • Experience counseling others on HR policies and processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without authority and collaborate with various levels of leadership and functions
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to drive results amidst competing priorities
  • Collaborative team player with a strong drive to create a positive John Deere employee experience
  • You must be solutions focused, forward thinkingand bring a positive vibe to influence change
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlookand Word
  • High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters

What Makes You Stand Out


  • 2 or more years of HR functional knowledge, including HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Workforce Optimizationand/or HR Reporting
  • Knowledge of and experience using HR tools and applications (SuccessFactors, SAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Information Technology functional area
  • Experience in providing expertise in employee performance and disciplinary issues
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience using VLOOKUP, graphs and pivot tables
  • Experience working globally

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
