Main Responsibilities
Translate business needs to technical specifications
Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
Maintain and support data analytics platforms
Create tools to store data (e.g., OLAP cubes)
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
Develop and update technical documentation
Provide business system guidance, acting as a bridge between departments to help IT members understand business objectives and help management professionals understand and identify technological solutions
Analyzes and manages Business Systems’ requirements/scope, timing, open issues, and objectives
Ensures Quality system standards are pro-actively identified and translated into practical and streamlined company-wide processes and systems, including opportunities for ongoing innovation and improvements
Accountable to ensure business Quality systems meet internal (YF IOS, BU OS), customer, and regulatory compliance (e.g., IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS, etc.), validated by internal and external audits
Establishes, monitors, and improves Quality-related business systems to ensure global consistency across customers and plants and assure compliance to international/industry-specific standards
Creates a culture of inclusion and teamwork through robust communication methods (e.g., Teams, video, etc.)
Supports development of a comprehensive systems strategy for YF and BUs Quality and Operations
Increases collection of knowledge, data, automation, and flexibility for relevance to Industry 4.0
Common Requirements
Fluent in Microsoft business system applications (e.g., MS PowerAutomate, Power BI, PowerAPPs, etc.)
Business Operating System (BOS) knowledge: Understands, applies, and meets all function related IOS requirements
Product safety awareness: Understands, applies, and meets all function related Product Safety requirements
Compliance: Understands, applies, and meets all function related Compliance requirements
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understands, applies, and meets all function related EHS requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree, technical university degree preferred
Business Administration background/knowledge
English mandatory (e.g., writing, communications, etc.)
Work Experience
Experienced in the responsibilities of quality professionals at corporate and plant levels, including working in a matrix organization
Experience with customer management, systems, requirements, and knowledge
Plant Operations knowledge preferred
Demonstrated systems development background with Program/Project management experience preferred
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Continuous Improvement
