All West Coachlines, a premier division of Coach USA is currently hiring for a qualified Operations Manager for our Sacramento office.
The Operations Manager is responsible for, planning, organizing, directing and managing the day to day operations of our depot. You will have clear and efficient communication with all stakeholders. He/she will control the daily operation in compliance with company policies and procedure and will be responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitably through the provision of effective methods and strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead, develop & motivate our diverse team
Oversee scheduling, operational forecasting, and planning/analysis for the best utilization of assets to maximize safety, customer service, and efficiency.
Oversee and direct daily functions of our dispatch group
Communicate with clients' representatives to field concerns and insure service levels meet or exceed standards
Oversee and approve employee compensation and operational expenditures
Makes hiring decisions for authorized roles; evaluates the work performance of staff; ensure the timely and efficient completion of all assigned tasks.
Coordinates with Safety & Training department to ensure all safety goals and directives met
Oversee facilities condition and maintenance
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement (A bonus but not required)
5 years' experience in commercial transportation services (preferred)
Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills
Leadership Skills
Problem Solving/Analysis
Time Management
Microsoft Office Suite, working knowledge
Distinctive Systems, working knowledge (have or obtain)
FMCSA, Federal, and State DOT regulations, working knowledge
