Job Scope:

The Endologix Clinical Specialist supports the sales efforts and enhances the productivity of the Endologix sales team by providing implanting customers with verbal technical assistance during Endologix stent graft implant procedures.

Responsibilities

Major Duties:

    Provide verbal technical assistance during implants
  • Provide in-service support for physicians and hospital clinical staff

  • Prepare EVAR case plans utilizing AAA imaging studies (CT scans, angiograms)

  • Work with Customer Service to order appropriate devices for implants

  • Ability to travel with minimal notice to support implants


  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • 50% travel required

Qualifications








  • Must have communication skills to verbally support deployment steps to Endologix implanting customers


Minimum Education:



  • High school diploma or Equivalent

  • Technical training in applicable field

  • Bachelor's degree or Nursing degree preferred



Minimum Experience:



  • 2+ years of vascular interventional experience in operating room, cath lab, or specials; or 2+ years of industry clinical support experience

  • Minimum participation 100 EVAR cases, all devices

Equipment Use & Abilities Required:




  • Equipment Use: Copy machines, fax machines, calculators and personal computers and computer terminals.


  • Computer Skills: Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
