As a key member of EQUANS NORTH AMERICA (EQUANS NA) Cybersecurity team, this position is responsible for the research, recommendation, planning, implementation and management of digital and application cybersecurity solutions, efforts, and processes. In this role, you will work closely with Cybersecurity Leadership to define, develop, and deploy procedures, processes, and systems to mitigate cybersecurity risk to EQUANS NA. You should feel comfortable engaging directly in incident response management as required and ensure compliance with all Group (Global) and regulatory cybersecurity requirements.

Please note that ENGIE SA announced in October 2020 its intent to divest certain Energy services businesses including approximately 74,000 employees globally, otherwise known as EQUANS. This position will support the EQUANS organization in North America. The EQUANS organization is being built out and the divestiture is anticipated to occur in mid-2022.

What you'll do:


  • Oversee cybersecurity architectural requirements using internal and external risk assessments, penetration testing, threat intelligence, and continual research of evolving threat landscape

  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives including threat assessment, system implementation, and incident management

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures and associated plans for system security administration and user system access based on industry-standard best practices and Group Cybersecurity policies

  • Serve as Security Lead for assessing risk and business impact of new/updated applications and systems

  • Monitor server logs, firewall logs, intrusion detection logs, SIEM dashboards and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity; Interpret activity and make recommendations for risk mitigation

  • Recommend, schedule (where appropriate), and apply fixes, security patches, disaster recovery procedures, and any other measures required in the event of a security breach

  • Keep current with emerging cybersecurity tools, services, guidelines, mandates, standards, regulations, trends, alerts, and issues

  • Carry out other duties assigned by management as required


Qualifications

What you bring:


  • Minimum of a four year-degree or Bachelor's equivalent preferable in an IT discipline or 15+ years of progress IT work experience in lieu of degree

  • A minimum of 12+ years of progressive Information Technology and Cybersecurity work experience

  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP certifications preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of Power BI and SharePoint preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft O365 applications

  • Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, GDPR, CMMC, and CIS

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles, as a means of relating business needs to security controls

  • Previous experience and knowledge of and experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining cybersecurity architecture, processes, guidelines, and procedures

  • Expert knowledge of industry standard cybersecurity tools, systems, devices, and applications

  • Ability to work independently with or without direction and supervision

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask; Flexibility and adaptability in work approach

  • Calmness and clarity of thought under pressure and ability to maintain confidentially

  • Professionalism including the responsibility and personal accountability for actions
