Job Description

At FLIR in G ainesville,we design and manufacture high quality drones to carry the best sensors into the toughest environments. Our extensive history includes working alongside organizations including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NASA, and the U.S. Army. Job Summary:

The Sales & Operations Analyst is the on-the-ground local support for our UAS Gainesville organization within Teledyne FLIR. This role will be responsible for various tasks to help plan, execute, analyze, and improve the efficiency of processes and other operations for the Gainesville operation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage various revenue projects, including tracking, reconciling and quoting / invoicing to various external and intercompany customers


• Coordinate certain supply chain functions such as shipping, receiving and purchasing as required


• Close partnering with operations, customer service, shipping/receiving and engineering to improve processes and problem solve


• Assist in the timely closing of month end including reconditions, intercompany balances, accruals and related journal entries; this included analysis & regular reporting to management


• Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable when required


• Assist with regulatory compliance such as financial and SOX audits


• Other ad hoc analysis/reporting or functions as required

Job Qualifications:

• Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.


• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field


• 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing industry


• Experience with regulatory billing/compliance such as SOX, FAR, WAWF highly preferred


• Prior in-depth work experience with an ERP system is mandatory, preferably SAP


• Strong business and finance acumen, understanding of the business, and interconnectivity of financials


• Advanced Excel skillset with the ability to utilize formulas and proficiency in Microsoft Office


• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills


• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, detail and care in workmanship


• Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures


• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization


• Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
