What you will do
The Sr. Total Rewards Consultant, Global Incentives will assist in and support the discover and deploy phases of incentive plan reviews, both sales and non-sales, in all product groups and across all regions. S/He will support the incentive compensation design engagement success through:
The assessment and analysis of current state incentive program(s)
Modeling and analyzing the cost impact of new design recommendations and
The overall plan impact and effectiveness through an assessment of the change in performance
The Sr. Consultant will own the global inventory of all JCI’s incentive plans and SPIFs, i.e. populate and maintain the SharePoint database and propose adjustments to the reporting template as deemed appropriate or needed.
How you will do it
Responsible for analyzing incentive plan effectiveness through a series of diagnostics which include a review of plan metric integrity, pay scale return-on-investment and cost efficiencies, gap analysis, target setting effectiveness and quota achievement performance.
Responsible for incentive plan deployment activities including requesting new plan codes and plan name changes, posting of incentive plans so that plans are visible to the participant and their manager, updating the Global Inventory tool and database of incentive plans (GILBERT) with the components of each incentive plan and posting the active incentive plan list on SharePoint, tracking the annual Acknowledgement Process, etc.
Support the analysis, design and deployment of incentive compensation and reward programs that meet local regulatory compliance and governance/audit programs, including but not limited to collecting data and performing analysis, providing initial recommendations to project leader and preparing draft presentation format
Assist in the development of communication and learning materials to educate TR COE and HR communities on incentive programs
Produce recurrent and ad-hoc reports related to the JCI incentive compensation landscape at aggregate levels in order to support requests from senior leadership
Provide research within compensation related documents to determine areas of opportunity, risks, and consolidation.
Create standardized documentation & analytical templates for the Global Incentives team in order to enhance efficiency across the team
Scope reporting and analytical resourcing requirements for incentive compensation projects
Work with Global Incentives team members in order to develop additional reward programs (e.g. SPIFs) outside the primary incentive compensation plans in order to support either local, regional or corporate tactical objectives through both cash and non-cash reward programs.

Global Incentives Team: virtual team spread over different continents with multi-cultural backgrounds
Total Rewards COE – regional teams: access to resources for specific benchmarking, analysis and/or recurrent processes
What we look for
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, finance, accounting, or business administration/operations.
2 to 3 years’ experience in incentive compensation review and design processes, 5+ years professional experience in total preferred
Basic knowledge of all total rewards components (grading, base salary structures, variable pay practices, benefits etc.)
Very strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
Expert in Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint; proficient in other Office 365 applications
Project management: ability to run multiple assignments and projects simultaneously, potentially across different regions
Ability to interact with and influence/guide team members at different levels of the Total Rewards COE organization
Preferred
MBA and CSCP
Solid understanding of the dynamics of a products and manufacturing environment
