Position Overview:

Sales are the main driver of BerganKDV's growth as a Midwest leader in our numerous solutions such as professional CPA services, enterprise resource planning (ERP), human capital management (HCM), outsourced payroll, bookkeeping, sales and use tax, data security and managed IT. As an ERP Sales Specialist, you will work identify prospective clients facing ERP-related issues and utilize the right BerganKDV solutions and services to address their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

Visible external sales specialist
Strong business acumen
Responsible for hitting personal sales commit numbers
Prospect, identify, and qualify new client opportunities
Manage all aspects of the sales cycle from potential client through client acquisition
Work with Market, Market Sales and Solution Leaders to prepare and present proposals and service agreements
Close sales by building rapport, relaying company capabilities, and overcoming objections
Report on sales activities, metrics and forecasts
Maintain prospect and opportunity data in customer management tools
Network in person and over the phone with key referral partners to generate business
Develop and execute prospecting strategies to generate leads for BerganKDV
Work with Market Leader and Market Sales Leader to mine existing and prospective clients for referral business
Monitor competitive marketplace and assist with improving our market position
Recommend new products and services to appropriate BerganKDV resources
Participate in weekly sales meetings
Attend tradeshows, seminars, and other marketing events
Facilitate marketing campaign tasks
Self-study learning


Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, accounting, finance or communications preferred
5+ years of Software Application Sales or Professional Service Firm sales experience with a record of high achievement a plus
Previous experience in managed IT services preferred
Knowledge of S2Score Cybersecurity Assessments a plus
