The Senior Applications Engineer will work closely with ZYGO’s sales, marketing and engineering teams while interfacing with customers during pre and post sales activities. In this highly technical position you are expected to become an expert operator of ZYGO’s optical metrology instrumentation and have the ability to define the optimum solution to meet the specific requirements of a metrology application.

Position Requirements:
Ametek Requires all new hires to be vaccinated.

Become a key customer-facing technical resource through Zygo's metrology instrumentation.
Support the sales team through customer sample measurements, instrument demonstrations and measurement reports.
Perform onsite training of customers through individual visits as as supporting tradeshows, technical meetings and conferences.
Stay abreast of new industry developments, trends and applications.
Assess the performance of Zygo products from a user's point of view and provide feedback to support product development.
Investigate new uses of Zygo's technology
Work closely with R&D and Engineering to communicate customer feedback, develop new product feature, and troubleshoot issues.
Create and/or review thecnical documentation and marketing collateral such as application notes, webinars, videos and presentations
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
