Due to our continued success, we are seeking an Account Manager to support our customers in the Midwest and Northeast USA. Candidates can be based anywhere within the territory, including, but not limited to, Indianapolis, IN, Cleveland, OH, Detroit, MI, Cincinnati, OH or Pittsburgh, PA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • A member of the Sales, Service and Marketing Team, the Account Manager will primarily focus on (1) the management of existing customers ensuring high levels of satisfaction while increasing market share, and (2) the identification of new opportunities within a geographic region to profitably improve company revenues and dominant position in the NAFTA marketplace. 

  • The Account Manager will work closely with the Sales, Service and Marketing Team to identify target markets and to develop a strategic plan for obtaining new business.  This Account Manager is expected to be the primary catalyst for year-over-year sales growth from new customer opportunities.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Support the mission and objectives of the Metal Spinners division of Pressure Vessel Group in the areas of account management, business growth and new market penetration.

  • Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive territory sales plan, including:

    • The identification of markets and sectors that will enhance the Company’s enterprise value.

    • The identification of new service opportunities that expand the Company’s production service offering.

    • Consistent and effective phone, eMail and live prospecting.

    • The identification of product re-design opportunities that effectively capitalize upon the Company’s production capabilities.

    • The effective and timely reporting of new business development progress and expected outcomes.

       



  • Support the mission and objectives of the Company’s Sales, Service and Marketing Team Planning and Reporting efforts by:

    • Collaborating with team members to develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive Customer Service Plan for designated customers with particular emphasis on the delivery of extraordinary customer care.

    • Collaborating and cooperating with the manufacturing team to support their mission and objectives, with particular emphasis on the continuous improvement of customer-centered measures of performance.

    • Collaborating with the customer and the Company to minimize production lead-times and total investment in inventories.

    • Serving as the liaison between the Company and the customer.

    • Developing and managing action plans that include “next steps” for enhancing the Company’s position within a customers’ supply chain.



WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Home office and on-the-road environment.

  • Attend customer meetings and trade shows as necessary.

  • Attend Sales, Service and Marketing Team meetings as necessary.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:


  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred with a focus in sales, marketing business administration, manufacturing or engineering, advanced business degree a plus.

  • Previous experience in engineering, production management, or technical selling is a strong plus. 

  • Must be able to read production prints.

  • Previous experience with manufacturing and metal forming a very strong plus.

  • Must be willing to travel within NAFTA 40% of the time.
