Equipment maintenance on e-beam evaporation chambers and related tools.
Work with equipment and process engineers on routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Perform daily and periodic and unplanned chamber maintenance.
Disassemble and assemble equipment for repair.
Enter data into computer software programs.
If required, train in other work areas.
Work in full clean room attire; full coverall jumpsuit, booties, shoe covers, hairnet and face cover, gloves.
Education and Work Experience:
Vocational Training or Associates Degree.
3-5 years of hands-on experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment, preferably with high vacuum equipment.
Previous experience in optic or electronic components manufacture.
Computer skills: using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Previous experience using high tech equipment.
Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Dexterity to handle small components.
Ability to lift up to thirty pounds.
Experience reading, understanding and following procedures and work instructions.
Excellent spoken and written English, and good communication skills.
Good record keeping skills, organized, dependable. Knowledgeable of safety practices.
Familiar with working in a cleanroom environment; follower of good housekeeping practices.
Must work well alone and in teams.
Must be U.S. citizen or green card holder.
