What do you get to do in this position?


  • Drive Quality Excellence in SWBD and QED6 Switchgear product lines (from Suppliers to Customers: engineering, manufacturing, shipping, fabrication, returns, etc.)
  • Conduct or participate in continual improvement activities, such as 5S, SPS, Six Sigma and ISO, to enhance the quality system.
  • Analyze failures and perform corrective and preventive actions to respond to customer complaints
  • Utilize the relevant quality programs and methods (8D, Lean 6 sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement
  • Develop training to build quality awareness.
  • Assist the Quality Manager and team in establishing, implementing and maintenance of the quality management systems
  • Contribute to improving customer satisfaction and achieving quality goals by defining and implementing projects and processes
  • Contribute and lead the Digital Quality implementation within the plant
  • Identify & capitalize on best practices in quality
  • Prepare Pareto charts, and 8D reports as required.
  • Review and modify the quality documentation to ensure quality output from the area.
  • Participate in Schneider Production System (SPS) and ISO audits.
  • Ensure action items generated from SPS and ISO audits are completed in a timely manner

This individual should be familiar with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, PFMEA and/or Poke Yoke. The successful candidate will be a team player/leader who works well with diverse groups of people. Candidates considered for this role must have a drive for results, experience applying and adapting tools and methods to achieve agreed upon performance goals, and a background in ISO 9001. We are looking for someone who has a hands-on approach.

  • Quality improvement techniques and models


  • Statistical techniques and analysis


  • Auditing and assessing techniques


  • Facilitation


  • Quality planning


  • PC and software applications, MSOffice, etc.

    This job might be for you if:



  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering / Tech.


  • 3-5 years' experience minimum in quality, or a related field.


  • Strong Communication Skills - Written/Verbal.


  • A strong understanding of Quality control processes (8D, PFMEA, DFMEA, etc).
