What will your role be?
To maintain the QA departments ability to sustain the test efforts of all product lines
Ensuring product quality and on time delivery of all our company releases
Focus on creating and executing automated and manual testing for QA
The challenges ahead
Plan and test/validate various areas of our IQMS products; including planning, developing, maintaining, and executing test cases for development cycle and regression test efforts
Assist with set-up of test data and test environments, defect reporting and tracking, and collaborating with project team members to meet project deadlines.
Ensure that all benchmarks are being met and reported accurately to the project teams, QA leadership, and all other IQMS stakeholders.
Your Key Success Factors
Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills. Ideally, have some experience with automated functional testing tools. Candidate must be organized, thorough, personable, multi-focused, and have necessary technical skills to debug automation scripts. In addition, candidate must be able to handle concurrent responsibilities and projects in a professional and proactive manner.
Technical certifications or AA degree in a technical field preferred
1+ years hands-on test experience in a software environments.
1+ years hands-on test experience creating and executing automated tests with a COTS test tool like Ranorex. (Cypress or Selenium as alternate experience considered)
Familiarity with ERP systems and business practices
Some knowledge of Agile, QA Methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
Computer proficiency to include MS Office on Windows Operating Systems
Must be a team player who can be flexible with changing project directions and priorities.
Knowledge of test plans, test cases, and metrics reporting.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Works well with minimal supervision and can prioritize their own workload efficiently.
Asks questions until they wrap their head around complex ideas, and consistently uses their curiosity to get to the bottom of things.
