POSITION SUMMARY:Performs work involved in the proper,safeand efficient loading Pneumatic bulk trucks, Flatbeds, Vans, and Containers. Safe handling and stacking of pallets and supersacks, andoperating within a FIFO inventory system. Understanding and maintaining the quality of allproductin the warehouse and allproductbeing shipped.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

• Correct and/or report any potential operational or safety problems to supervision.




• Perform all work assigned in a neat and orderly manner, strictly adhering to Company and governmental safety rules and regulations.




• Perform clean-up in assigned areas.




• Perform repetitive lifting of 50 pounds when necessary.




• Safely and efficiently operate roller mills and impact mills to achieve a quality product.

• Safely operate mobile equipment including Forklift, Light Vehicles, and Loaders.




• Adhere to proper Mine Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations.




• Perform other duties as assigned.

Safe Quality Food (SQF)

• Ensure a SQF workplace and in regulatory compliance with Federal FDA - Food Modernization Safety Act (CFR Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, ,Part 507)




• Support Environmental Health and Safety, as well as SQF initiatives and awareness programs.




• Be a leader and promoter of employee safety and SQF culture.




• Ensure employees have a clear understanding of expected safety and SQF performance and the required training.




• Ensure proper training programs are implemented for new employees and continued for existing employees.

• Actively participate in audits for regulatory, safety, SQF and environmental compliance at the site.

ATTRIBUTES:

• Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and inventory tracking software.




• Must be capable of performing the essential job duties required of this position.

• Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with supervisors or peers.




• Must be able to read and write English and perform basic mathematical computations.




• Must be computer literate.




• Must be capable of working shift work.




• Must be able to work outside in severe weather conditions.

• Must have a telephone and be receptive to call-outs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

* Must be physically able to perform work assigned.

* Must be physically capable of accessing all plant locations.

* Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 150 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.

* Will be working at times incoveredenvironment but mainly in a lime/mineral environment.

* The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Lime/Mineral Particles.

* The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.

* Ability to lift/carryup to50 pounds.
