You can shine with us as a Medical Provider Data Management (PDM) Team Leader by managing the daily activities of a team within our PDM area.
Manage effective team operations including developing and meeting production and quality goals and standards for performance; develop and maintain staffing levels to maintain service standards, production goals, quality standards and cycle time
Manage projects from initiation to completion, as needed, to develop process improvement or data integrity initiatives at the department and organizational level
Provide subject matter expertise on team products and processes and the Company's data systems internal and external to the department
Develop and produce weekly team productivity statistics to measure compliance and effectiveness of team operations; provide weekly feedback to department management on results, trends, corrective action, and/or opportunities for improvement
Develop and implement department policies and procedures. Monitor for compliance as necessary
Identify and reports systemic or recurring problems. Track trends and initiate technology & process improvements to eliminate issues/impediments to delivering service excellence and meeting organizational and team goals/established metrics
Maintain knowledge of current legislation relative to specific state and federal requirements affecting credentialing/data operations
Maintain master copy of current team manuals identifying all processes within the team, workflows, documentation, standards, and training materials as needed to support effective team operation
Participate in the implementation of new programs and services related to Provider Data Management Operations. Recommend actions to improve and enhance department operations through active participation in management team operations
Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
Ensure systematic data oriented efforts to improve consumer and/or client services. 40% of this job is related to QM activities.
Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Bachelor's degree, or 3 years of related experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in related managed healthcare environment including minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
Knowledge of the Company's data systems and a familiarity with Imaging/Workflow Environment and Provider Data Management processes desirable.
Knowledge of departmental processes and its relationship with organizational objectives and outcomes.
Communication (oral, written and listening), prioritization, organizational, project and process management, leadership and team building skills
Ability to lead, motivate and mentor individuals and teams
Ability to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on regulatory compliance requirements
Ability to negotiate and coordinate activities of individuals and groups
Ability to effectively manage resources and workflow for multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to use software, hardware and peripherals related to job responsibilities including MS Office
Ability to manage operations in a date driven environment
Ability to work with and understand complex data systems
Ability to focus on results and successful achievement of business objectives
Ability to take action independently by gathering information, identifying tasks and following through
Ability to collaborate with others to ensure best practices are explored, implemented and shared
