Job Description:

Mobile Crisis Specialist is responsible for providing face-to-face crisis assessment services to those individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The Mobile Crisis Specialist provides support and linkage to other area resources. This position will be from2p-10p

Job Summary:
1.Demonstrates the ability to deescalate crisis situations.
2.Provides coverage of crisis service beyond scheduled work hours/shift as needed and as assigned by supervisor.
3.Complies with all Centerstone contractual requirements including making every effort to comply with response time standards.
4.Creates an atmosphere of cooperation with Centerstone departments, community agencies, mental health consumers, and the public at large.
5.Provides face-to-face assessments that are clinically effective and courteous.
6.Makes appropriate referrals for least restrictive treatment possible to ensure psychiatric needs are being met.
7.Demonstrate knowledge and competency in the utilization of Centerstone programs and other community resources.
8.Maintains accurate records of all contacts & enters all data on appropriate forms.
9.Demonstrates timely completion of records on all contacts.
10.Demonstrate knowledge of psychiatric intervention skills.
11.Knowledge about DSM-V and ability to render a diagnostic impression.
12.Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and telephonic communication with co-workers & supervisors on and off site.

Job Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree in Social Workor related field preferred. Experience providing services to mental health patients preferred.
