We are currently seeking a AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

The AWS Clound Enginner will work with MES stakeholders to design, develop and implement web-based applications, middleware, and robust, scalable data integration applications. Candidates should have an excellent understanding of development concepts and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile.



Job Responsibilities Include:

* Design and implement Java applications that fulfill employer requirements

* Create well-written code that runs efficiently and optimally

* Communicate with end-users to determine their needs

* Test completed software and debug as necessary

Basic Qualifications

* BS/BA degree or 5 years' of total relevant developer experience

* Minimum 1 years' experience in AWS hands on experience

* Minimum 3 years' experience in Programming Languages: Java, Python or C#

** Can be 100% remote with very minimal travel possible



Preferred Skills

* Minimum 3 years' experience in Data Base: SQL/NoSQL

* Minimum 3 years' experience in Operating Systems: Linux, Windows

* Minimum 2 years' experience in Version Control: Git

* AWS Serverless Components: Lambda, Fargate Clusters, MSK, API Gateways

* AWS skills: Developing applications for cloud platforms such as EC2, Beanstalk, EKS * Leveraging CI/CD to rapidly build & test application code
