LMI is seeking Strategic Advisor/Planner to function as the lead contractor and senior functional program management expert. The selected individual will be the single point of contact for the Government.

Responsibilities
In coordination with functional, technical, and program level stakeholders, develops program level strategies and detailed roadmaps that define the steps required to achieve programmatic goals and objectives.
Supports program and portfolio oversight through the identification and implementation of opportunities to standardize common program level processes, procedures, and reporting; driving improvements in governance and management.
Supports implementation of policies, practices, and projects to maximize use and value.
Develop and manage key project artifacts such as program charters, schedules, status reports, work plans, stakeholder engagement plans and decision-making models
Support development of overall project management calendars and schedules that accurately reflect the scope of the work holistically and by initiative to ensure visibility and alignment to organizational priorities and resource allocation.
Ensure accurate documentation, thorough evaluation and complete traceability from inception through closure.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Appropriately works with cross functional partners to align resources against project needs and/or work collaboratively to identify and address gaps.
Leverage program lifecycle management methods, tools and techniques to constantly monitor and assist the PMO with reporting on progress of project/program.
Assist the PMO with developing and presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
Qualifications
Expert-level knowledge of commercial industry accepted standards and best practices related to strategic planning and portfolio management;
Seven (7) or more years of commercial strategic planning experience;
Five (5) or more years of professional experience in the DON, DoD, or IC in a related field;
Detailed knowledge and understanding of DON resourcing and budgeting; and
Detailed knowledge of DON governance and decision-making structures/processes
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, or organizational change
Minimum of an active Secret clearance required
