Employee-owned Kitchell is seeking a Senior JD Edwards Technical/Functional Analyst to provide solutions and support within our recently re-implemented E1 environment. This position is based in Phoenix while providing support to our corps of 1,000-plus employees in Arizona, California and Texas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support of JD Edwards E1.


• Take ownership of issues by troubleshooting problems, researching and implementing solutions.


• Analyze business data, processes and procedures.


• Create functional and technical requirements, specifications and documentation.


• Design, develop and test new business processes, programs and interfaces.


• Partner with business users and project teams to deliver the right solutions.


• Provide best practice recommendations to improve process, performance and reliability.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree.


• Minimum 10+ years experience developing and supporting JD Edwards E1 including version 9.2.

Knowledge and Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of the E1 development tools.


• Familiarity with E1 modules: Financials, A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, Contract Billing and Real Estate.


• Work with User Defined Objects such as Orchestrations, Pages, Watchlists and Notifications.


• Proficient in T-SQL.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Additional Desired Skills/Experience

• CNC knowledge including: ESU installation, Weblogic, Package Builds and Deployments, System/Log monitoring.


• BI Publisher, Orchestrator, AIS.


• Windows Server and MS SQL Server.


• Interface/Integration development with enterprise systems.


• Revenue Recognition, Cash Basis Accounting.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general, climate controlled, office environment.

Physical Requirements

• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Travel Requirement

• Limited to no travel will be required for this position.
