Job Description:

J.P. Morgan Wholesale Payments (formerly Treasury Services) provides cash management, liquidity, commercial card, foreign exchange and escrow solutions to clients across the world. Teams are constantly innovating, using the latest technology and data analytics to deliver specialized solutions to help clients grow and streamline their businesses. The organization combines four lines of business: Merchant Services, Treasury Services, Commercial Card and Trade Finance to help clients manage working capital and increase operational efficiency.

The Onboarding and Validation Product team sits within J.P. Morgan's Integrated Payments Product Group (IPPG) within Wholesale Payments. We are a newly established team with the goal of delivering products that support clients as their customer base shifts online and expands into new markets. We are responsible for building and managing Third Party Registration and Validation Products. These products are critical components to providing access to products, enhance controls and helping our customers manage risk.

Job Summary

The role will own and execute product readiness activities for Commerce Enablement products and features including Onboarding, Risk and Validation products. You will be responsible for identifying and managing risks and controls associated with our products. This is a highly cross-functional role, working various stakeholders across Product, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Global Finance Crimes Compliance, Finance and Tax.

Duties and responsibilities


  • Define and implement the business readiness framework across commerce enablement initiatives, including Onboarding and Validation Products/Services
  • Execute on processes including new business approvals, risk assessments and third party oversight
  • Partner with Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance to identify platform control requirements in alignment with global and market specific policies and standards
  • Oversee design and delivery of platform control requirements
  • Establish and own ongoing engagement and governance with legal, risk and compliance stakeholders
  • Rationalize product features and capabilities to support scalability and global expansion
  • Develop and maintain product playbooks
  • Define Key Performance Indicators and conduct product performance monitoring

Qualifications


  • 10+ years of experience in Product, Controls, Risk and/or Compliance roles
  • Experiences with Payments, Treasury and/or Merchant products and services preferred
  • Strong understanding of e-Commerce/Marketplace/Third Party Processing segments is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and client developer needs
  • Exceptional relationship building and client-facing skills
  • Experience in collaborating with sales, technology, operation, service, risk, compliance and legal teams and command strong influencing skills
  • Ability to articulate product complexities in a simple manner to key stakeholders
  • Innovative thinker with a deep understanding of industry trends
  • Results oriented; operates with a high level of personal initiative, sets and achieves challenging goals, and demonstrates entrepreneurial leadership
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
