*this role will work at the Twin Oaks Golf Course 3 days per week, and at The Crossings at Carlsbad 2 days per week*

JC Golf has an exciting opportunity for a reliable and efficient Clubhouse Maintenance Person with maintenance knowledge. This role will be responsible for ensuring luxury resort standards of safety, function and aesthetic appeal for all buildings, furnishings and equipment. This role will also be supporting The Crossings at Carlsbad two days a week and Twin Oaks Golf Course three days a week.

 HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Review and prioritize all daily work orders, interfacing with the General Manager when necessary. 

• Oversee all preventative maintenance programs to ensure consistent, reliable operations of systems. 

• Participate in periodic inspections of all departmental locations. 

• Assist management in determining the necessity and viability of outside contractors, and to investigate/obtain references on contractors and submit recommendations for final approval.

• Act as golf liaison with outside contractors and agencies when maintenance work is subcontracted to outside vendors. 

• Continuously restock and monitor the course restrooms and locker rooms by removing used or soiled service items, used towels and trash as needed. 

• Satisfactorily perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs in rooms and public areas, including minor electrical, roofing, plumbing and A/C services. 

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to read, speak and write in English, and follow simple verbal instructions. 

• Able to read and interpret drawings, diagrams and blue prints of all trades. 

• Mastery of one or more building trades required. 

• Requires hands-on working knowledge of the following systems and their related components: HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen, water features, and general building construction. 

• Familiar with general maintenance requirements of private clubs and golf course environment.
