Responsibilities

Dematic has an exciting opportunity for a Global Financial Analyst on our growing team! This position will be used to enhance and develop the Global Planning & Reporting functions within the Dematic Global Finance Organization. This position requires 8+ years of relevant finance experience and will have exposure to several levels of executive management. As a member of the Global Finance organization, the Global Operations Financial Analyst supports the Planning & Reporting function dedicated to Global Operations.  Global Operations consists of Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, EHS, Global Engineering Tools (GET), and Project Management Office (PMO).  This position provides exposure to various functions within Operations. 

Reporting directly to the Director, Operations Finance, this position will focus on the following:

• Lead the collection, rollup, and analysis of Global Operations Financial Data (forecast and actuals) on a monthly basis.  As part of the collection of templates, will perform basic quality data checks


• Assist in preparation of monthly Actual and Forecast packages for Global Operations organization


• Support as required Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for Global Operations


• Serves as main controlling contact for functions within Global Operations


• Support and/or develop new templates for data as required from various functions


• Assist in training or complete rollout of new template requests for various functions


• Collect and track data specific to Global Operations such as Capital expenditures and Headcount reporting both actual and forecast


• Assist/Lead as required and/or develop tracking mechanisms for data statistics within department


• Participate and/or lead various improvement initiatives within the department


• Serve as leader for own department in event of absence of Director, Global Operations Finance. 


• Support executive leaders within Global Operations on special ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have the following credentials:

• Completed 4-year Bachelor of Science degree with a strong concentration in Finance and/or Accounting is required. 


• 8+ years’ experience in a financial role in an operations company


• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 


• Experience with SAP and Oracle is given strong consideration


• Exceptional analytical, critical reasoning, and communication skills


• Demonstrated ability to be well organized, learn new tasks quickly, define process improvements, and strive for success 


• Travel as required up to 5-10%
