Accountable for development, planning, execution, and management of various activities related to materials and inventory control for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Examples include logistics coordination, shipping/receiving, distribution, storage of materials and cycle counting programs. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, at the non-exempt level, inspection; order fulfillment; shipping; kitting; movement of materials; ensuring physical inventory and maintaining designated inventory records using various material tracking systems; and scheduling work for designated areas of operations; at the exempt level, compiling data for reports; and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities:


  • Performs varied and general tasks involved in controlling inventory; shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment (e.g. movement of materials through the use of pallet jacks, daily collection of appropriate statistics, routine maintenance).

  • Supports advanced- and complex-level transactional processes for special or non- typical assignments independently.

  • Serves as a process expert within the supply chain; capable of pulling the data, identifying trends, and communicating the meaning behind the data to exempt-level employees, typically in a consultative manner.

  • Identifies complex, special, or undocumented areas for process improvement and collaborates with exempt-level employees to develop recommendations (e.g. auditing of cycle counts).

  • Provides training and mentorship support; develops training/documentation materials.

  • Monitors the execution of more complex tasks performed by others in lower level roles.

  • Provides troubleshooting and problem-solving support of complex problems related to function.

Education and Experience Required:


  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Typically 6+ years of experience in materials and distribution, preferably in a technical environment.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Advanced knowledge of warehouse management applications and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Advanced written and verbal skills.

  • Mastery in English and local language.

  • Advanced technical knowledge specific to business function.

  • Excellent multi-tasking ability.

  • Strong project management skills.
