TRU357 - Auction Coordinator - PTA- Toms River NJ

Position Summary:

Responsible to ensure all required auction day process is met for a given auction type and location.  Position requires the ability to multi-task within the fast pace auction environment and provides leadership to the auction day employees.  

Responsibilities/Duties:

·All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any/all incumbents, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be other related duties as assigned.

·Supervise all Auction day process.

·Create, maintain, and account for all auction equipment and materials.

·Research, identify, and support development of improved technologies and systems to allow for enhanced operational efficiency.

·Ensure that all required duties and responsibilities are executed.

·Develop, maintain, and utilize auction day job aides

·Train and lead auction day staff.

·Develop improved processes for at-auction.

·Provide Excellent Customer Service

·Perform Staff Manager functions at auction as assigned.

·Travel as needed to areas of interest for venue search and casual staff interviews and training.

·Travel as needed nationwide to manage auction events of 30 assets or higher

·Maintain positive working relationships with Sherriff Staff, Attorneys, and Referee’s

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point software programs.

·Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.

·Achieves high performance while managing several assignments.

·Ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism.

·Ability to travel 25% of the time.

·Certified Auction Manager for less than 30 assets brought to sale

Education/Experience:

·. High School Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

·Work history to show a rate of progression through positions and or company succession plan.

·Auction experience required.
