The financial analyst role will provide assistance to the Account Resource Director to run aspects of the FA across C&W Services account portfolio, including managing weekly, monthly consolidation & reporting, creating forward-looking estimates and performing financial analysis of business performance.
Job Description
Assist in creating monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting packages
Support activities related to the collection, analysis, review and presentation of diverse financial reports
Assist in compiling annual budgets, forecasts, & other performance measurements
Assist in the development of client-level reports, graphs, metrics and other analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis and reports
Act as subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all site-level reporting for balance sheet, financial budget metrics, project and above the base work tracking
Provide support to operations team, shared services and other teams as needed to ensure effective financial management of site accounts.
Contribute to the efficacy of operations through identification, analysis and maintenance of data with an emphasis on process improvements.
Assist with special projects including, but not limited to project work tracking, revenue, expense analysis, acquisition/start-up models and productivity.
Support financial system improvement projects
Collaborate with other staff as applicable.
Desired Skills and Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting specifically with closing procedures, financial statement presentation & analysis
Highly intelligent with excellent analytical skills, with a larger focus on financial reporting and ability to convert raw data into financial analyses
Ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible, adaptable & responsive work style
Experience with dealing with field employees and ability to build business partnerships with internal clients
Takes ownership & accountability for their work regardless of the situation
Superior organizational skills
A mature professional with excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
Experience with accounting systems and information tools such as Oracle JD Edwards, Kronos, 360, and other database & analytics applications
Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting a plus
