Job Summary

The Director of Technology Solutions will be based in Austin, TX and will Responsible for developing scalable technology platforms and generating complex business plans for strategic Health Solutions new business opportunities. Solutions include vertical integration of plastics, electronics, and mechanicals, complex automation, testing, and integration, across spectrum of medical devices and equipment.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

• Perform business case assessments of strategic customer RFQ data


• Manage global cross-functional team to convert this into detailed business solutions that include strategy, platform requirements, scope, timing, and budgets


• Act as the Key SME and decision-maker in full life cycle solutions with the ability to deliver detailed proposals to customers and commercial team


• Manage/develop/coach multi-disciplined (plastics, electronics, software, automation, test, packaging, and validation) engineering team in an ultra-competitive business environment


• Rapidly design manufacturing lifecycle solutions from low to complex automation solutions and drive the organization to produce compelling, cost-effective technology solutions


• Be a thought leader in technical manufacturing solutions for the Business Operations function


• Produce detailed business plans hands-on, communicate to senior-level internal and external management


• Stewardship of solutions through commercial process including business award and launch phases


• Will be responsible for navigating flex throughout Health tech solutions


• Will have full management of technical solutions from the top down

Here is some of what you'll need (required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering Electrical Engineering, or similar field of study.


• Must have extensive experience in product & process development through high volume manufacturing scale-up of medical products – particularly those with high plastics content.


• Extensive early engagement customer experience.


• Ability to produce detailed business plans hands-on, communicate to senior-level internal and external management


• Manage cross-functional team in the effort of our Medical Solutions


• Experience with the following Technologies- Plastics, Injection Molding, Electronics, Automation, design/development through large scale manufacturing production, Test, Packaging, Validation.


• Medical Device Experience or other field with high-reliability requirements.


• Willing to travel and collaborate with sites.
